Don't Make Your Customers Work

Sep 17, 2021

I'm dropping a truth bomb here:

Customers are lazy. That's the honest truth. Before you disagree, listen for a second.

They don't want to be bothered with multiple steps and several clicks or to be brought here and there and everywhere. They don't have the time and chances are, someone else will be doing the same thing as you in less steps and in an easier way that they'll buy from instead.

Personally, I don't consider myself a lazy person in any way except this one. If I have to go on some extravagant freaking man hunt to buy your product, let me tell you, I'm going somewhere else. Make it easy for me to purchase and I will be back time and time again.

Limit the number of steps to purchasing or receiving the offer to as few as possible. The fewer the steps, the greater your conversion rate. That's all there is to it.

As I've grown older, and dealt with hardships and trials just as everyone does, depression reared its ugly head. I didn't realize what it was at first because it's not like I was suicidal, but I couldn't sleep at night and then slept all day, I wasn't eating, drinking...

Pretty Stories Aren't What We Need

Aug 21, 2020

Being an entrepreneur is hard guys. Like, real hard. Actually, just having big dreams in general is hard. It's lonely, and trying, and at some point, will test everything you have in you and then require more.

Right now, I'm sitting alone at the kitchen table developing marketing strategies for two new clients while my friends are outside grilling and having a bonfire. Do I want to be out there right now with them? Yes. Am I experiencing a little FOMO? Yes. But I know that if I want to live like no one else in the future, I need to do what no one else is willing to do today. That means sacrifice and dedication. But many times, along with sacrifice and dedication come loneliness and struggle.

It was my life's goal to become National Champion at an Arabian National horse show. As a child, I rode my horse every single day. So much so that the barn owner would suggest maybe I give my horse a day off here and there (haha). I skipped football games on Friday nights and lake days with my ...
